Knee not as painful, but feeling a little warm to the touch, so I will have to keep a close eye on it. Gone are the days when everyone was routinely given antibiotics after surgery.
I am so pleased you are not being as friendly with the porcelain "god", long may it last!:)

Another couple of days less until the end of your treatment!

I won't teach you to suck eggs granny :p you know what you're doing. I still find it scary that you can leave hospital with an infection these days and it's accepted as the norm. But that's how it is. Fingers crossed it doesn't come to anything

Well having read for a wee whiley I'm still not sure that ignoring won't work.

    Thanks for the links

If you ignore you have to wait 6 years for the statute of limitations to kick in to feel 100% sure. It may be that some companies cannot take everyone to court as 1. It is too resource hungry and 2. they lose money going to court, but for those that do the victim has more to pay and the stress.

http://www.bmpa.eu/court.html this is before the supreme court ruling and now the parasites will be issuing claims in enormous numbers, particularly post October 2012. Most times the defendant will face judges who see "private parking" and think "Beavis" and it's game over, even if your case is strong.

Better to kill it by complaining or going to popla, if available.

A range of new Am3x offers have appeared - £10 back on £100 Arg0s, £5 on £10 spend at P0st Office, £10 on £30 P1zza 3xpress. May be others of interest. Per card so you need to save the offer to your card ready for use as there are limits.

Do you get the 300 points though or just 150 ? I've never tried it.

Yes, receipt states "Gift card 150 points PER £50" , so 300 points showing.

Also got 500 points for 5 coupons, so 800 points in total.

Used the giftcards to pay for a big family meal out, and also used a code from the web for 25% of at the chain we went to.

Oh, the restaraunt also let us take in our own shop-bought celebration cake for dessert, saving a few £££ too :money:

And the stress is the point. Most places do have clear signs displayed these days. You do have to keep your eyes peeled as they are popping up everywhere at the moment. 2 supermarket car parks I use have introduced 2 hour free parking in the last month.

in all honesty if you have boobed and overparked and the fine is reasonable, is it really worth the stress of hours of time trying to find a way out of paying it? The days of illegal parking fines are practically gone. Most, if not all of the companies that operate on supermarket or shopping centre carpaks these days have been made legit by a series of court rulings.

if they put a sign up and you don't read it, it will be hard to deem the fine unfair. that's just my opinion. I don't like less free parking either but as with everything in life, ignorance isn't an excuse anymore :o

It seems we're all in luck - for now! The reason I moved the M list was so that I could alter that third post (of the buy in M/Tvs M items) without affecting the Lidl items at the end. I told you this was another one-off:rotfl: - I'm deciding to expand my collections and cover Lidl. I can fit 30 minutes into my routine(:D) on Thursday afternoons - my closest Lidl is literally a 10-minute walk away (if that) and I'm hoping that it won't be too long() having got the baseline data to make note of changes. We shall see... (If I decide like going out on Thursday.) If so, it'll be updated once a week - on a Thursday. It'll miss any weekend specials, but if we take note of those maybe I can add them on (if I happen to be here at the weekend - sometimes I'm not). If I go on Thursday (no promises on that, but it seems likely), then I'll post a new post on Thursday sometime (or maybe Friday whenever I feel like:cool:) - of the "old" Lidl list which I'll then update. I'm leaving my old (first) one on the original first page, together with the "old" Morrisons list, for my own reference in case I need them.

It's obviously just a guide as prices can change at anytime - like one item I noticed last Thursday that seemed to be going up. But it'll be "good" to keep it updated. I think... as I expand (and become more obsessed:laugh:):rotfl:.

M seem to be quite high price on a lot of fruit and vegetables at the moment, and including potatoes. The Bean Sprouts, though, are still 54p (which increased from 50p - at least it's not yet up to 60p like the other packs e.g. Diced Carrot & Swede 500g which you know to put against Sains at 50p vs 50p). I don't know whether the Bean Sprouts, which are vs M, are working though - they compare, then they don't, then they do again, then they don't - they're very haphazard as far as I see.

The Round Lettuce at 46p in M turns out to be 45p in T. When it was on offer in A, I found it was, for me, quite smaller there:( and, at one point, managed to get it in M - a bigger lettuce - at vs A's then offer price. It's obviously now impossible to do any comparison in M since they have stepped back from the comparison schemes any more. It depends whether the ones in A are now more substantive than what they were before - the lettuces were very mean I felt when the price was 40p in A - if they're still not that big, then it may work out better buying one at straight 45p in T (if that's much larger and outweighs the 10%). You'd have to see. Or - maybe whoopsies are better:rotfl:.

The apples packs at £1 prices in M don't impress me too much these days. The loose broccoli in M though (which won't get you any more weight than what it weighs as) is £1.36/kg. (That's 45.56p per 335g, but the 335g prepacked can sometimes give you more than that.) The M price is now a little lower than what it was when it was £1.39/kg initially but it has been lower than its current price in between (down to £1.28/kg low in the last few months I think). If anyone ever sees loose broccoli compare against M, let me know: it should compare vs £1.40/kg at all the other competitor three stores (A isn't 10% cheaper) but, as far as I know, it's never picked up M:(.

Elsewhere I noticed the Whole Salmon at £4/kg, down from £10/kg apparently. However, was it the Whole Salmon that was £2.59/kg before? I seem to have the price of £2.59/kg stuck in my head from somewhere.

The Iron Tablets have now joined the (rolled-over to some extent) 4 for £3 health and beauty offer. However, unless they are some subtly-different version to the ones before, they were 66p offer in the past, so the offer, as regards those, would be a price increase!

I've left the M list unfinished for now - as I'm quitting for the night:cool: I'll come back later and add probably quite a few more items onto it! Of course, don't buy the bold items (unless it's "buy in M") just yet - the "current" list, at the time of writing, is still the old one (which is on page 1 for those of you with 40 posts per page, and at the top of page 2 for those of you on 20 posts per page).

    See you now, bye!:wave::wave:

Thanks for trying, but I see you bought the raw king prawns. The ones I am hoping might compare are the cooked ones.

But what your apg does show, is that the 2 for £7 wasn't picked up again
I have done an order, so I will post the results as soon as I know tomorrow.

Argh sorry! They were the only ones I could see in a pouch in my A. My SIL thinks I've gone round the twist as I don't like prawns so she couldn't understand why I was buying them :rotfl:
I knew deep down I would do something wrong though.
I'm no good at this and very rarely catch a glitch posted here and certainly never find one o my own to share :/

I don't know if I'm being dumb (probably) but still can't understand what the ceareal bars multi is on the bottom of my receipt...I don't see it on the APG and I only bought one box of cereal bars...

Also kicking myself that I didn't notice the overcharge whilst in store, nor the price of the magazine which I was only buying for the tea caddy.

BTW our ATM has roast potatoes on the screen but no vouchers to print that I could see. None printed off with mini statement anyway.

    Morning mad squad,

    Q. When is a multi not a multi ?

    A. Ambrosia anyone ?:rotfl:

Dawnylou, what else did you buy?
Is there anything else on the receipt that might have triggered the multi?
Can you post a picture of the receipt ?

    TIA
