Everyone lost in the Ether II

Good morning everyone. ASDA website still not showing the 2 for £4 Comfort offer for me so I presume this one is still going this morning.
Deeply grateful to the OP and everyone on here for the help with the wine glitch. Got two lots yesterday, both with cider too. Annoyed with myself for not getting more copies of the Sun yesterday -- just did 9! But each time I have used them, I've been credited £2 a voucher, even in T when the SEL is £1.99!
I did two T shops yesterday. I found a well-priced TV on my way in, just the right size. Had been looking for one for ages (Blaupunkt 32/136i 32 Inch HD Ready 720p with Freeview, £99) so nabbed that for a Christmas present. (Must email CS today about whether I can return it if it is not right, though I am fairly certain it is.) Just as well really, as by the time my £6 conditional spend and the cidre vouchers and the Orchard Christmas pud voucher kicked in, my bill ended up being £105.93. I had two assistants with me at the SS till (huge queues on staffed tills), one to remove the security tags and the other to deal with the vouchers. Can't imagine what they would have thought if the TV had not obscured how little I had paid for my shop!
Went back later for more Faust VII and cidre and this time used a staffed till. Was getting my innocent look ready when the SA noticed the BG total. She spun round and shouted 'bingo!' and then explained that she and I were about to be given chocolate! She said it was when the BG was above £4, I think. I did ask if this was nationwide and she didn't know. I don't like this particular T and this is the first time something nice has happened in it! (They never have mags for example and you really have to fight for DTD.) Sadly, I was so chuffed with the chocolate buttons that I forgot to look for more Suns on my way out. Cidre has been a really good thing for us, hasn't it?!
Oh yes, another good thing in this T. (Maybe they are making amends.) Pimms 1litre bottles rtc to £9.42. This I drink, so I got two bottles which should last me for some time. Did that in a separate shop of course!
Thanks, everyone, for your help, and I hope that others find rtc Pimms too. Can't imagine why they are reducing it.0 -
Just feeding back - I tried to combine T CC vouchers and N3ctar for P1zza Express last night but they would not work together
(adding one removed the other).
Bother now having N3ctar as only got them to pay the balance.
Anon
So sorry Anon. I thought I'd read somewhere they could be used with other offers but I am clearly wrong.
I have been wondering whether they will let me go into PE and get free dough balls (you get a voucher if you review a restaurant and you can review without a receipt) and a starter. I could use my Nectar points and then get the extra ones, so almost free food and another fiver from Nectar. Does anyone know please?0 -
Car is fixed :j:j and I have been to buy 3 each of diablo sav blanc and tail Shiraz. Came to £15.81 plus fillers. Not sure when to stop on this one ...
There is a post on the HUKD wine thread about some champagne which works out at £6.25 per bottle, but as it includes a substitution, I can't work out which one to get, or if it is possible to get that price without a substitution?
I do need more sparkling - any recommendations of a good deal for 6 at S or T? Preferably a nice prosecco for less than £5?
Morning all.
My tesco £10 voucher arrived today :j
Just gonna get dressed and go to mr t for more wine, I just been looking at martini sparking rose, I think it should work out £16 for 6 plus fillers, I love rose wine 😜😜0 -
McGuigSauvB safely stashed
. Make sure you get the bottles that say Classic as they do several variants. O2 Christmas cards also collected from WHS so a good morning's work.

I knew there was something else. Thanks to the OP for the Lidl tip. Got two rolls of clear wrapping film and a half price panettone. The voucher is in the 'book', not in the promotional material printed on newspaper but it is like a small catalogue. I think it is called something like Christmas surprises and has a white (?) glossy cover. Will come back and edit this post when I find my copy (house is a tip and cidre is everywhere!) to be clearer. They were not around, but I had three SAs running round looking for it and they eventually found one for me.
Am going to lunch at a friend's tomorrow so will take an Italian basket of panettone, Barilla and a bottle of Italian wine which was the lonely occupant of my wine cupboard until this week!0 -

My Faustino worked on my home delivery so I've just done another order for tomorrow. Funnily enough there weren't any of the where will we put it comments because DH is the red drinker.0

I've got storage envy. Was it TS who had the lovely organised shelves? A picture of the wine rack would be good too :-)0
