Sorry Di but you wouldn't have liked the prices as expensive as a whole mystery box.

Morning hope everyone has a good weekend. :)

I'm off have to see a man about a dog as my dear dad used to say we never did get a dog. :rotfl:

Lots to do and I don't seem to be making huge progress. And now there are 8 bags of chestnuts to deal with too. Why do I do it? :o
We picked some chestnuts one year, we pricked them and put them in the oven. We went and sat in the lounge and kept saying to each other, what was that noise? Unfortunately it never occurred to us that it was the chestnuts exploding in the oven. What a mess, never again so careful how you go with those!

Morning all. I bloody love Saturdays. :)

Just been browsing and there are some good half price offers on the Waitrose Kitchen site for the cooks amongst us.
Their bakeware range is really good quality and the tri-ply saucepans are lovely. The 'From Waitrose' glasses are also nice. They are all half price with a further 20% Black Friday code on their home page. I do love a bit of kitchenware :)

Do you put the saucepans in the dishwasher? My dd has asked me for some but everything goes in the dishwasher & saucepans seem to get ruined by the salt. Any help would be really appreciated thank you.

I'm in the never again camp too Di.

Mine exploded as I lifted them out the oven. The ceiling was a mess:o

I always do several butchers too. DH and I both have cards on the one account, so usually buy £20 of meat, and get the butchers shop to put through 2 x £10 transactions.....they have always been happy to do this.

That's the best use IMV - Christmas beef, sorted!
Also half price fish & chips
Plus usually take my dad & brother out for a few rounds of beers, few odd looks when I buy a round of 3 x one & a half pints to get over the £10 :)
