So, I've moved the M list. I'm going to be changing part of it later though, as I am going to discontinue the Tvs M list. I'm going to incorporate it within the 'buy in M' instead. I've decided that the T prices are now irrelevant as, unless they fail to compare and then you don't proceed with the transaction, what you would be doing is buying the brands at M prices. I don't want, heaven forbid, the T price to become like reference prices, where you see a "was" price for example - "was £2.47 now £1" and buy at £1 because you think wow, what a saving of £1.47!, when £1 might not always be a good deal and cheaper alternatives are available elsewhere. The price to look at there is whether the current price is any good and not to be affected by the "previous" price, to which it may have gone for a few weeks and is otherwise regularly on £1 "offer". Of course, it doesn't happen like that and people are influenced by the £2.47 much higher price and buy the item with the "saving", which is what the supermarkets want!

The T price may have helped to identify what item I'm referring to, by checking its price on the shelf. However, I don't always keep the T prices as up-to-date as the M ones, since changing the T prices needs me to do further checking. The items are, largely, described the same way as the descriptions on msm.co.uk so you should be able to find out the item by checking for it under my exact description on there. There are occasional exceptions - such as when an item isn't on msm, but I'll either try to make these clear if I'm aware of them or else we can all ask and debate what item Savvy might have meant:rotfl:. Descriptions on msm can change and I try to keep up-to-date (even putting into bold amendments that reflect mere changes in msm descriptions:rotfl:) - it should be easy to identify the product despite such a change however (I manage it find it quite easily:rotfl:).

So, I don't want you looking at much higher T prices and thinking "wow what a discount". Instead I'll remove the T prices and just post the M prices as that's what you should be paying (if you buy ten items at T and comply with the conditions etc.). You can then total up the bill for the ones you are buying in T and check that that's what you're paying (together with the additional cost of any own brands or excluded items that you buy). I might even remove items altogether if T changes its shelf price to match M's, or else keep them on as either T or M. I'll move the items, a bit later, to "buy in M" and put the ones that may also be potential Tvs M items into italics. I'll post separately the own brand fillers for now - I might not keep this up-to-date (don't think we should be using fillers anyway as that means we are paying T more than we would pay at the competitor - instead of just paying the competitor's cheaper prices on the brands we are, if the TBG works, paying the competitor's prices on those plus paying T the cost of the own brand items that we would not have had to buy at the competitor - there would have been no need to buy 10 items there). Obviously if any of the own brand prices at T was to increase from what is to be in the separate list, then you would no longer buy them at T but maybe move to an equivalent at some competitor if that remains cheaper or else consider whether there is any alternative to paying T's price increase.

I've got to go for now - I'll see you later!
