Was it Anchor cheese last year in a multi where buying multiples hit the conditional spend for the dairy voucher? So 4x£3 was £12 but actually a multi of 2 for £4 (or something like that) so voucher value came off the lower amount. Does the till still process that way?
Many thanks
AnonWas we not able to use both dairy coupons as well? or was that yr before?
Yes, Yes - think the pastry worked two years running - last year got the anchor butter with free cooking tins and dosh off lol. The permutations hurt your head. But yes one year codes stacked with finest and normal diary. (2 of each with diff dates on). Anon I am not sure if the tills still process that way. Wasn't there a finest food coupon too - sure there was another one - may have been packaged cheese. Think they ran into new year so half price cheese and wine worked too. Zippy you are right they are no where near as exciting but propensity for a glitch (and mags are usually no where to be see when the glitch hits).
Fingers crossed peeps.0 -

brrrrrrrrr not keen on chilli:rotfl:
Oh no  What am I going to make for tea when you finally call round? Iwas thinking of chilli turnovers to use up some Jus Rol pastry:)
btw, for any chilli fans, an excellent (and cheap, 30p/portion) chilli recipe is Mumma Jack's Best Ever Chilli, from A Girl Called Jack (as was)

im guessing some asdas are a lower none offer price and some on multi.
not tested
there is a good chance of a glitch. chicken and gravy one compares at £2.50 sainsbug on msm. (asda do comparing though) so £1.13 apg fo each one bought in 2's
making each one cost £1.37
not checked other pies.[/STRIKE]
wrong weight:rotfl:
Oh don't worry, I get things like that initially wrong too. It was a nice try and... it's just extra work again isn't it:mad: and can be laborious checking the other side of the sites to see if they are within weight range and whether any adjustment needed etc... zzzz..... zzzzzz...zzzz...:rotfl::rotfl:

I will try and dig out my latest diesel reciept
-0.10 for 100 litres (60 in car and 2x 20l Metal cans) at Morrisons - They even gave me the 10p to take the fuel away!
Made up of 3v (allegedly in liquidation) vouchers, Amazon and Currys
I haven't paid for fuel in the last year.0 -

Someone said about pies the other day dont know if it was those, i dont buy pies i make them:D unless there free of course:p
Was it me :rotfl:Untested and own brand stuff so more risky than usual - no idea if anything compares or is cheaper elsewhere.
If you normally buy these then why not check them out and report back
I'm guessing that the 2 for £2.50 pies are more expensive in-store than £1.#CHEEKY :cool:0 -
Evening
well I said RL was hectic,
how the heck can I help to organise a christening in a week 200 miles away:eek:
Its not quite a bad as it sounds, all I have to do is decorate the room (providing it can now be hired!) its a top room in a pub overlooking the Thames so they will provide the buffet. The christening is at midday on Saturday, we wont arrive til late Friday night and will probably have 1/2 hour to make it christeningy help!!!!
I was thinking of blue painted jars with blue+white flowers with date and babies name written on jars for the tables--but I haven't time to paint and decorate jars, and I haven't got any so im not going out buying for lots of money- any one got any brilliant ideas please??:D0 -
Do you know, I bet that Freddo, PEScum, was 22p or something like that in Morries, so you've paid them 3p more than what you 'should'. But, then, they got the price on the Coke Zero drastically wrong and you've certainly not paid M price on that:rotfl::rotfl:. Probably M's gone up to 25p to match by now, so it doesn't matter - and you can see I'm not really bothered with it as I haven't even bothered to collect a price for the Freddo from M myself last time:rotfl: - but, I think M might really have it and it's possibly technically an item that the TBG may have missed, even if it turned out to be same price in M. Does anyone have it on any APG comps - they might tell us M info:rotfl:? Maybe it's a different size I don't know (in which case N/A is right). You know I'm going to have a look now whenever I'm next in M:rotfl:. And will report back a little later on the hugely and earth-shatteringly significant Freddo price, if available, in M:rotfl::rotfl:.0
