Sorry to go back over to this. Is SP Spag. Bolognese picking up M price yet? TIA.
Mild Curry Sauce vs M at 20p? Or is that no-go? I note a very large price increase on the item in A - gone from 20p to 44p!
Ravioli N/A vs M or is it comparing? In fact, perhaps post the whole M comp.:rotfl:, thanks.0 -
Due to price increase at A. Was previously just more than 10% cheaper.
ASDA Smartprice Marrowfat Processed Peas in Water (300g)
25p 8.3p / 100g
22p
Works out probably a penny more than it was before, if compared properly against M, or possibly about the same price (19p).
Maybe some glitchy marrowfat peas somewhere would come along and come to be cheaper though:rotfl:.0 -
A number of "S"price items increasing in price (at least ten of them, most of them now showing bold prices for A on the M list) - they do this occasionally, probably to see if anywhere follows suit and then maintain their increased price or to drop back again if nowhere else follows. Fortunately old comps. vs competitor shops available for the moment - as the competitors, by and large, remain same price as they were. Might help us a few pence here and there on wombles:rotfl:. Or may be a sneaky GC of far more than the price the item was worth if you can catch one showing its old price. A few pence or a few pounds - it's still an overcharge and all the same is 'entitled' to £2 goodwill.0

Morning all
:hello:
What a hideous night's sleep. DS1 home from uni for the weekend, and we were woken up at 3am by him coming home VERY drunk, Haven't been back to sleep since, am watching him sleep :shhh:
Has made me really worry about what he gets up to at uni :eek:Best if I don't know I suppose
DH has now gone off with DS2 to take him to get the coach to footie - an early start as the match is in Newcastle
Have told him (DH not DS! :rotfl: )to get some Bubbs beef while he is out on his travels :T:T.
Have had a quick skim back, and can see something about fish glitching, but after the night we have had, I daren't mention anything complicated to OH - he has difficulty understanding a glitch at the best of times and will have enough trouble getting the right beef :rotfl::rotfl:
I might try for some coke later if the glitch is still on.Will be handy for Xmas, although Coke is one thing I have managed to give up - I used to drink far too much diet coke but am now a reformed character - I stick to the vino now - wonder where DS1 gets it from... :rotfl::rotfl:
Have a good day all x0 -

Coke glitch at T confirmed working at 05:51 for whoever asked for a confirmation after 4:30/5am
The SS assistant saw me throw £3 into the machine and asked to check my reciept, I handed him it and he reprinted it to show the manager - so probably a no-go in the Chesterfield Extra store.
Cost £2.86
I got 12 sweets for £1 - 7 items
then a Freddo, Fudge and Dairy milk (all 25p each)
So the Coke only worked out at £1.11 for 4 cases (28p each)0 -

But what can they do about it? The stores don't have any control over the BG data (we're led to believe). So, unless they put all their stock of Coke Zero 24 can into the back warehouse where customers can't go, people can just still sneak through SS when staff aren't monitoring everyone.
Presumably they couldn't even manually correct the SS machines to £20 to get people to pay the 'correct' amount in any event and, if so, we could just leave the Coke on the SS and walk off with nothing. (Besides it messes up comps. and if people have big shops that aren't aware of, or targetting, the Coke Zero, the staff wouldn't know what to correct to - because, if M is £6, they should be deducting £1 per pack from any deduction - or possibly giving no deduction at all if the TBG was less than the amount that the Coke Zero correctly ought to take away from us. The tills/SS may not be easy, or even possible, to put right manually in the event anyway as they give an automatic deduction. Their problem, not ours. People should try not to draw attention and perhaps to pay with a banknote:rotfl:.)
I think your calculation of 28p is probably wrong, because I paid less in total on my shop and I made mine as somewhat under 50p. However, that is to attribute no value at all to the other items that people buy.
EDIT: I've worked yours out at straight £2.86 divided by 4 = 71.5p per pack. That's on the basis that people would not be doing any shopping at all and wouldn't be buying any of the other items they were buying if they were not getting the Coke Zero packs. Nonetheless, as mentioned, that is putting no value at all on anything else bought, whereas, in truth, that Freddo (and even my Haribo mini) does have a saleable value.0 -

Quite. I think they were planning to remove the stock from sale.
I made sure I threw my £3 in the till before anything could be done... I have NEVER been so desperate to give Mr T my money
Managed to edit my post above to include the image - I guess you are only a newbie for 10 posts.
EDIT: IF ONLY the APG worked the same way as the Tesco BG does, THAT WOULD BE AMAZING! (But would probably never happen)0 -
Can you still buy things like loose carrots/bananas as part of your 10 products for a Ts brand match?
Edit: Am amazed that Freddos now cost 25p!! Last time I bought one, I'm sure they used to cost 10p!0 -
