Doesn't seem possible but it's (I think) two years ago today that madmuppet5 passed away. :A
Can we raise a glass to him tonight?
Has anyone still got the link for his rendition of 'You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'?
He made loads for charity. :T:T:T
Is it really that long  Such a wonderful man :AWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Has anyone any advice regarding electric toothbrushes
Eldest child says BF needs a new one - I don't know what he is doing with his old one as my daughter got him one only 2 years ago - I've used one for years and only had to replace it when I left it in a hotel bathroom
so I don't want to spend too much but it still has to look and feel substantial - I've already got quite a few odds and ends to make up a Christmas good bag
I've looked at the double up list for nectar but sadly they are not listed.
I do though have quite a bit of Amazon credit but I've not had a browse yet as Amazon will give me 10 zillion options and just confuse me“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
I've also suggested to eldest child for her main Christmas present the Time Out card - I found this link but I am not sure its valid
http://www.timeout.com/london/shop/buy-the-time-out-card?refid=TradeDoubler&cid=lon~tow~half%20price%20card~tai~you~tradedoubler~crd~2015-06-23&tduid=cbc5f7d9f405da13d4c4eaad67803282&url=https://buythecardldn.timeout.com/51778c9c?ref=TradeDoubler
also not sure if I need to get one for her and one for BF as well - does anyone have this card and do you need one each?
I've messaged her and she sounds quite keen - she works in London so a lot of their social life is there and they live just outside. when she first went there she used her friends card as her friend wen north.
If I go ahead with this then I goody bags to give them on the day with interesting bits and bobs and I can carry on filling these - so far I've got a red notebook, MB bauble, room fragrance spray so I am thinking along the lines of nice scarf, something alchoholic, posh chocolate etc“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
:beer:I can't believe I have just bought more fizz........but I have TS I'm going to need a wine rack like yours soon!
I've ordered 2cases of Bella Cucina Prosecco 75cl (6x75cl)
And used the £10 off £60 plus the delivery saver code so got them for £50
Don't forget TCB if you place an order:beer:
I only went on to try to remind myself of the cheese glitch last year but my memory isn't up to scratch I'm sure it was something to do with two codes working at the same time but one was definitely the dairy code.
Anyway I don't know how I ended up on the wine page but I did:o0 -
and Finally in the post today Boden have sent me a £10 code
:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
everyone else seems to have had one except me
so can I use it on reduced things and what can I get with it?
I remember someone got hideous scarves?“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Mhoc....we have a colgate pro clinical mid range toothbrush the 600 I think...originally sent as part of a bzz campaign quite a few years ago...
The battery is not brilliant on them but the customer service is excellent and so far we have had it replaced twice...each time the brush has stopped working before the 2 year guarantee has ended so each time its stopped we have sent it back and a new one has been sent!
Not sure how that would work in practice if you were giving it as a gift,so I guess what I'm trying to say is stay away from the colgate brushes unless perhaps you were going to take charge of getting a replacment should the need arise!
The brushing experience is good and there are several models to choose from the all singing all dancing 1500 with lots of buttons was reduced in Boots a while back but usually you can get something in the range somewhere half price most of the time!
Have you had a look at the oral b ones that were heavily discounted in A a few weeks ago....or even the ones that were comparing well agains other shops and returning a big APG.....I've never had an oral b so no idea if they are good brushes or notfrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
