As you can see my table is in need of the pledge restorer. :rotfl:

Have never bothered getting a new table knowing we are going to be knocking walls down, got the quote yesterday and very reasonable so we will be going ahead next year. :j

Thanks... I might just do that I like a bottle of Malibu at Christmas.

I'm so annoyed with myself I though I'd added it up roughly in my head and didn't leave enough time to shop really as I needed to get back for school pick up...
Lesson learnt... Failure to prepare is to prepare to fail I need to do a better more comprehensive list added up correctly in future:)

I'm hoping these ciders are restocked before Friday... Not many of the raspberry or pear on the shelves..

Also bought Nescafe with 50% free making it a 300g jar the Sel was £5 I was charged £4 on my receipt so that lost me £1 ...

Malibu is £14 in Morribos for a litre so now is a good time

nothing like that in ours but mind you I avoided the crisp section carefully.
I did go down the flour aisle and I was looking at the flours but I didn't see any red labels - finished a bag of flour so that would have been useful for doing dumplings.

all I did manage to get was oat biscuits in the reduced section for 25p with a 21/11 date on them

There was only one bread mix and Yorkshire pud mix that had been RTC in mine none left when I got there. All the ones that had been reduced previously must have sold in the week as there were not even gaps for them today.

cant search, please tell me about this.

A month or two ago when at the till I had forgot my money off voucher. I was told that it's fine you have 14 days to bring your receipt back with your voucher and they will refund the voucher value.

So I went back the next day with my receipt and voucher and got my £5 refunded (cash even though I paid on card).

This triggered the thought of wombling receipts and checking if the customer had used a voucher and if not take it in with one of my vouchers.

Found my 1st receipt yesterday and the customer had spent over £100 and not used a voucher. Took it in with my £10 off voucher and got £10 cash refunded.

You'll be lucky! No 2p items at all in any of my stores. I never have them round here - they never do.

I have SELs for the Crunchie and Fudge funsize at 43p in one store but they are now OOS - there's a slim chance they'll be picked up on the APG though I think the chance at the moment (before the Wednesday update) is probably a little better. The Milky Way was also 43p on Monday but, for me, was harder to come by - the clues as to that being 43p were more subtle (I note the original hotdeals poster missed that off - maybe coincidence or maybe it said something?) but it appears to have gone from a.com now as it's on (worse) RTC in A.

I wouldn't be surprised that, whilst some stores may sell out of items, if they do happen to still be around elsewhere - and you'd be very lucky - they may go to even lower prices until they eventually clear.

Meantime, on seasonal items - but upcoming and not for us to be dealing with the moment - I notice how the "Santa" boxes of the Kellogg's Corn Flakes do, indeed, appear to be working with the muggles. I found the stock of those quite depleted in one store (or maybe they had moved some to the aisle end for the, not very good, 3 for £5 offer?:rotfl:) - last week I overheard an older shopper saying well she'll get a pack of them "as it is Christmas":wall:. It does work! And it's exactly the same product... the "normal" packets with the normal design were still aplenty! (And just as expensive:rotfl:.) I overheard a staff member today, in the seasonal aisle, remarking on how the Christmas trees were quite high priced and that they would never shift any of them at that price. Maybe one to watch in several weeks' time, if they are forced to reduce them:D. So, hopefully, no-one will buy high priced items in some stores and then, store-specific, they will be forced to have reductions.

I note a mention of £3 Christmas trees in M earlier on here. Of course, none in my stores at all:rotfl:.

and in Sada today............... I am sorry you can only use APG to the value of 10% of your shopping!
Oh no says I that is not right
call supervisor who insists it is right, and has ALWAYS been 10%
I argue, she is adamant, claims the manager is calling head office as we speak, but she decides to put the APG through anyway
I call HO just to check they haven't changed the rules, they haven't.
Funny thing is I very much doubt they could work out 10% even if it was right!!

HO did say however they had changed the system to stop people reprinting the APG, but they were having issues & it wasn't working yet!!
