We have had many 'singlies' to Christmas dinner ourselves over the years. I could never bear to think of anyone eating in the mess on Christmas Day. Some years we had quite a houseful!

I should be on my way to Scotland at the moment but I was stopped in my tracks by a very unexpected nose bleed. After I'd got my slap on too  very inconvenient. I'm hanging around for a bit in case it sets off again. Nosebleed on the M6 wouldn't be good......
My old Fil used to say a nose bleed was a release of pressure and you should never stop it just let it run its course the body knows what it is doing ....maybe Bubbs should get her hubby to punch her on the nose until it bleeds ...then take her blood pressure :rotfl:
  • I'm back with a bootful of cidre ,Irn Bru ,candarel, shwartz recipe mixes and gaterade.
No problems with the coupons in Asda.
Oh and a litre bottle of grouse to placate hubby who thinks I have gone mad :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Good to hear Mr b is ok, stiff and sore is to be expected. It doesn't bear to think what the outcome could have been  keep him close bubbs :)
