I find that hard to believe....

    ... you only bought 12 ... :D.

    Thanks Anon..:D

You are of course absolutely correct and I did indeed buy a hell of a lot more than just the 12 I posted about. However, some of the newbies on the elite might not realise as yet that I am the threads's resident maniac alcoholic and I was trying to ease them in gently..:rotfl::rotfl:

So, another 100+ again this Friday and next..:beer:

this is a good clear post and needs to be repeated very early Friday morning for the bewildered amongst us :D

if your store has the new updated tills and/or has till trouts then it might not be as easy.

I have chickened out and mostly got my cidre in Morrisons (and more newspapers) and I've been getting other things with MOCs at the same time eg Barilla and used the overrage for bits of shopping I need

I've been getting sets of 12 bottles at a time - is that what everyone is doing. I think 12 looks like normal shopping (whereas 24 or 36 would look suss :D )

my other problem is one of space. I am going to have to excavate the back of the study sofa to try and find more bottle space and this is where my best NZ wine is hidden away from the ravinging hoards :D

    on fridays i get 6 ciders and 8 papers,i pay £1.20
repeat this until no papers left then i moved to the next shop.
i then use the excess papers throughout the week.

    edit
as fatty posted so will I. I got 40 the 1st week then 80 so far this week. i think ill be drinking these well past the june use by date lol

how on earth do you manage to get the vouchers processed at the till.ive gave up in asda with them.
I went to my local for the first time in a few days today and was told by a friendly sa that EVERY SINGLE VOUCHER now has to be authorised by a supervisor.

I went to one of my favourites who I knew would be great and was lucky that one of the nice supes was on duty too.

SA scanned 12 Cidre vouchers and actually didn't need supe override, however as soon as she scanned my apgs it did need the supe.

Not sure yet if this is going to be good or bad for me. Potentially good because I don't have to worry about dodgy SAs as the supe will be called every time, so it is them I need to become pally with. However, potentially bad as a smaller (potentially more intelligent) group of people will now be able to monitor my apg use..:(

I have just ordered the last but one Chirstmas present :D

Waiting for OH to decide what phone he wants then I can order that.

Much as I love going on holiday this time of year, bit of a nuisance having to compress Christmas stuff so much!

At least we have a housesitter for deliveries :D

same problem here - looking at the calendar for the last 5 years I've realised I've actually moved the hols from early and mid November and gradually getting later and later.
One year we got back and sorted Christmas in 5 days

    no housesitter either

so now I have 10 days to sort Christmas as I want it all done this month and I've not started but no one will tell me what they want so they might just get a goody bag of pretty smellies and candles and a nice scarf and chocolate and a MB bauble

Probably confirmation of what most of us already know..

Buy 12 Sun newspapers for £4.80.

Cut out the Cidre voucher from each one for a free bottle.

Take said vouchers to A and buy 4 different flavours x 3 plus 4 fillers.

Mention to sa that they are £2 each (when they are actually 3 for £5) to make sure they put the vouchers through at £2 each time and get overage of £4.

    Get your apg for £2.

Jump up and down because you paid £4.80 for the Suns and have got back 12 x bottles of Cidre, overage of £4 and an apg for £2.

So, A have paid you £1.20 to take away and drink 12 bottles of yummy cidre..:beer:

I believe there are cheaper ways of doing this, perhaps to do with buying the papers in the coop, however I cba with that and my post is about this amazing offer, available to all of us in its easiest format.

In case you didn't know, these vouchers will be available again in the Sun for the next two Fridays..:D

I know there is a website called PTS (Paid to Shop), perhaps we should have our own one called PTD (Paid To Drink)

    3x Stella Artois Cidre Raspberry Cider (500ML) £5.00 £5.00
    3x Stella Artois Cidre Cider (568ML) £5.00 £5.00

1x Kingsmill Soft White Medium Sliced Loaf (800G) £0.75 £0.75
    3x Stella Artois Cidre Elderflower Cider (500ML) £5.00 £5.00
    1x Giant Strawberry Stripes (1PK) £0.10 £0.10
    1x Haribo Starmix (1PK) £0.10 £0.10
    1x Triple Distilled Vodka (1.5L) £21.50 £21.50
    1x MAOAM Sour Giant Stripes Cola & Lemon Flavour (1PK) £0.10 £0.10
    1x Barratt Flumps (12G) £0.10 £0.10
    3x Stella Artois Cidre Peach Cider (500ML) £5.00 £5.00

I nearly jumped up and down today as was accused of photocopying said vouchers today.

You have to have a bloomin thick skin in this game.

multiple apgs go through fine on manned tills as long as they scan apg then scan receipt. (not tried one over £10 though)

That must take some doing TS.. If you cut out a double sided voucher from the Sun that makes your fingers go black when you rub it, how on earth can you be accused of photocopying?:rotfl:

Fortunately I didn't lose out too much, even with the lower apg, it still meant I got the dishwasher tabs for free, I just didn't get the extra return on them.:(:(

Which d/w tabs did you go for I could not see them in store ,or was it the little As could really use some.
