received contract & am in process of sorting out solicitors etc...

read in the contract that you get the Public holidays off including Easter Monday....so does that mean we will not be training on this day then?

Been given dates of 18th March - 1st April but not mention of this day off???

Don't really bother me either way...just would like to know!!

Will email my recruiter anyway.....but they aint the quickest at replying!

So who is on this training starting tomorrow now?

Add your name to the list:

    RebekahR
    Taz02
    Bajangal
    Tonki_boat56

4 of us is a good number so far!

Recruiter rang me to see if I have any questions. Then said how is your cold. I said I haven't had one. So she said it must have been someone else then!

Not sure about training, but in the real world when you go live
if your Rota'd for a bank holiday you will still be expected to work
it , you will of course in effect get double time for that day though.

just as a example and it might change next year, but we had xmas day
and boxing day off, but had to work new years day.

Anyone had their interview today? If so, how did it going? And those who had their interview previously, how was it, and how longdo they take to get back to you?

    I've got mines today!
  • For the training can we use a wireless connection, I am asking this because my 25m ethernet cable has not been delivered yet.

I used wireless or the 1st meeting conference and it was super.

can we use IE7 rather than firefox.

IE7 Works better for me. on the firefox browers test I am get all 3 green signals but after that it says plug in not installed when I have installed it. on ie7 it works wonders.

Had mine 2-3 weeks ago. Very informal. They just ask you a couple of questions like when you have dealt with difficult customers before and what the outcome was. How you dealt with it etc. Really don't worry about it! Although I did. But I am a born worrypot! :o Their "policy" is to get back to you within 3 days. And she rang me on the 3rd day.

I am using IE and will do. And I used wireless on my first conference too atually! So you probably will get away with it as it's not using the workbooth. Might try it myself actually ...

Glad to see the new batch excited about the start of
    training! :)

The trainers have been very busy recently as all the
current @home agents have just completed a new course,
hence the delay in getting new starters trained

So be nice to them, and enjoy it!
    :D
Aye and when you complete your training and come into the live calls system the newbies may find they recognise a few names lol
Good luck with the training peeps and hope to see you all soon :)

Hi people. I have just come accross this thread.

I applied for a job with TT back in Jan my PC wasn't up to the job and failed the tech assesment. I have since upgraded and tried to re-apply a few weeks back but had problems doing the other assesment as it kept trying to use my old login.

I spoke to the live help person who wasn't very helpful and wouldn't give me a phone number to call. They said they would email me, they did but I still couldn't get it to work so I thought these lot were a bunch of cowboys and gave up.

After reding the comments on here I have decided to give them another try as I am really desperate for some extra cash.

One poster said you need to work a min of 20hrs a week is this true?

Can anyone say anything about the pay. I know you can give an exact figure but a ballpark will be good enough, more than £6 an hour more than £9 etc.

The hours I am available to work will be before 11am and then after 7pm on weekdays and some weekends. Would anyone be able to give me an idea on what kind of shifts are available.

I heard the training is 2-3 weeks long and is every weekday 5-9 is this tru and if so is it flexible as I wont be able to start at 5 due to other work commitments.

Overall how happy are you with the job? Do you have a direct line to your manager if you need help etc.

Any help will be greatly recived.
