no i'm not trying to access the meeting - i am trying to run the initial test which they have asked me to do now - my browser settings are all correct - but after those are ticked it shows unable to connect to server

is this just because i am not scheduled to connect until tomorrow then?

I did the test thing a couple of hours ago and you're right, it doesn't connect. It just shows 3 ticks, 1 for pop up blocker, 1 for windows xp ( well mine does) and I can't remember what the other one was. So you should end up with 3 ticks??

oh good i thought i was being a total numpty there! either that or will chuck all laptops and pcs out of the window! has been such a bleeding headache getting this far!

please help. I've done the skills test and passed.

I can't get my pc to do the tech test!! I have direct connection to modem through ethernet cable. Java installed, updated and checked for errors. All I get to do is reach the set up stage when I press "set up" I then get 2 screens: one black with white writing and second is a run notepad window. There is no window to submit test.

Passed all the tests. Did the 'bulk' interview along with about 30 others - what a TOTAL mess that was! The screens didn't load ,were reloaded & stayed on 1st page, the noise & interferance from other phones was crazy. Can't say I was too impressed.

Had the one-to-one interview Thursday & was asked what I thought so told person interviewing my views on the 'bulk' interview. Should I have kept my thoughts to myself & told her it was wonderful???

Upshot - supposed to be contacted yesterday & told whether they wanted me - Nothing, zilch, nada!

Should I have lied & said everything was wonderful to gain a position? I didn't tell them what a complete & utter shambles I REALLY thought it was.

I have no doubts I could do this easily, maybe I'm too confident, too qualified for them. Where do I go from here?

How long does it normally take them to get back to everyone after their 1 to 1?

LOL. We use numpty ALOT in our house - mainly by myself! Today's the day then!! I'm can't say I'm nervous yet, which is very strange for me. Mind you, it is VERY early. Good luck again Claire and anyone else who will be there too!
