Santander cash back - flo gas supplier

Options
Has anyone been able to get Santander to recognise Flo Gas as a gas supplier. I live in an area where there is no mains gas so have LPG and pay a monthly direct debit to Flogas for the gas they supply. I would have though that this would be eligible for the 2% cash back but Santander do not seem to recognise this. Flo Gas are one of the main LPG suppliers in the UK so not exactly a Micky mouse company. Seems a little unfair for the rural community?

I'm fairly (but not 100%) sure that Santander have a list on their website somewhere with a link whereby you can request that a supplier is considered. If I'm right, have you tried that route?

  • Hi, yes tried that and Flo Gas is not on their list, tried to speak to Santander but they said Flo Gas was not on the list and had been blocked as they didn't meet their criteria. As the 123 account has been around for some time I would have thought someone would have tried to get Flo Gas accepted, especially as they are a large supplier, before going into battle I wondered if any of the LPG gas suppliers were included and if not why not, surely gas for heating and cooking should be treated the same?
