ccj in my name but its not mine

hi all looking for some help

i looked at my credit report and have seen that i have a ccj and 2 debts that i don't no anything about in nottingham and a address link as well and i have never been there let alone lived there. how do i go about removing them from my report thanks for the help

Sounds like the CRA has incorrectly linked your name against the CCJ and and accounts. This is not uncommon, and there are some examples investigated on BBC watchdog and the Dominic Littlewood on this.

Complain to the CRA, stating that you are not this person, and that unless they remove the link you will be taking them to the FOS and ICO, and you may also consider legal action if they refuse.

what about if i had someone come to my home from the court asking me to pay the ccj do i have to pay them and what can i do
