I find that it's totally random - of the dozens of sites that people have named on here, I've gone to all of them and perhaps found a bird once, twice tops. yet if I've just browsed, and gone to some random page myself, I've often found one - although usually only the one in any given session!

I think it is a bit random but I'm seeing some kind of pattern in that they seem to appear more in the retailers that appear in the red hot deals, at least for a while. I'm starting to believe that you get so many in the retailers who aren't answers to the daily clue but they run out because I clicked on GAME when I came in and there was none.

I also agree it can be a good idea to wait a little because I went into IWOOT not long after midnight as it was on the red hot deals list but got nothing, went back 20 minutes later and there was one there.

I do think posting retailers helps though as it saves some time aimlessly searching and gives people an idea where to look, I've got lucky that way sometimes.
