Apologies for the bump.

Not sure if anyone else has worked out that this seems to be time sensitive rather than anything else. I go on every 2-3 hours and always find a bird within 5-10 selections. Sadly today they have all been +1 entries rather than sweets. Once I have found a hummingbird I stop and then go back a few hours later. It has worked for me so far.

Interesting, that. John Greed (as mentioned above) didn't give me anything earlier, but I went on again just now and got the hummingbird. You could well be right, though in the course of half an hour to an hour I've usually been able to find 3.
