Should I pay the balance off?

in Credit cards
I wanted to transfer a small balance a few months ago, and A&L gave me a £8000 transfer into my bank account with a credit limit of £9000. I put the £8000 into a savings account and have added to it over the last couple of months, and when the 0% period finishes in a couple of months I should have enough to cover the amount on the card (if that makes sense).
Now my question is, at the end of the 0% period, should I just pay the balance off? My OH and I have a few cards lurking around with no balance on them. Is it worth contacting them all to see if they will let us do a fee free transfer?
The cards we have are:
Post Office
Barclaycard
Goldfish
Mint
I have applied for a card with Ulster Bank, but not holding my hopes up that they will give me a £9000 credit limit.
Thanks.

When I phoned to clear and close my A&L card they offered me 6 months 0% but with a 3% fee which I took as it did alow me a small return for the next 6 months. It's worth a phone call to enquire. (0800 688 688 will get you there)

i find that MINT are very good for doing all sorts of offers.just call them up and ask if there are any offers on your account.they will check the system and tell you if you are eligable for any BT deals.0
