I'm sure it won't go so well every month but this first time in for me is going really well. I exchanged the $20 today and got £9.18 for it at PO so am rounding that up to £10. Also used a random £1 off coupon in Asda against some groceries, so that is going in too. Total so far £18.50 :TJan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

Hi,
I'm new on this forum, although have been lurking as a guest for some time! I've already decided to do the grocery challenge, and I think I'll try this one too. I'm not sure what exactly I'm saving for yet, I might put it towards some new autumn/winter clothes.
My Semptember started on Monday.0 -
OK, I've worked out I managed to save £3.50 already. I got my free hair dye from Boots (full details posted on freebie board) saving me £2.99, I used a coupon to get a discount on my magazine (only 15p, but every little helps) and two savings of 18p on a 'buy 2 59p items for £1' offer, and a discount for buying cleaning cloths in bulk. I know I only started today, but I'm quite enjoying this challenge already!0

£4.50 in my Ciao account now towards the ballet. There is still some delay as there are more surveys to be put into there.
Angel1980: There are lots of ways to keep track. Do you mean on here? You can add things to your signature by going into User CP along the top bar and edit your sig. You can keep track on a spreadsheet. Or you can get a bank account with a pass book. Or you can get a simple cash book from your local stationer or newsagent and write it in.spendy/she/her ***DEBT-FREE DATE: 11 NOVEMBER 2022!*** Highest debt: £35k (2006) MY WINS: £3,541 CASH; £149 Specsavers voucher; free eye test; goody bag from Scottish Book Trust; tickets to Grand Designs Live; 2-year access to Feel Amazing App (worth £100); Home Improvement & Renovation Show tickets; £50 to spend on chocolate; Harlem Globetrotters tickets; Jesus Christ Superstar tickets + 2 t-shirts; Guardians of the Galaxy goody bag; Birmingham City v Barnsley FC tickets; Marillion tickets; Dancing on Ice tickets; Barnsley FC v Millwall tickets0 -
Cleared out OH wardrobe today as we needed storage space for bedlinen etc - yucky job but I found £1.75 :j
Also had an Asda delivery with free delivery so £4.75 saved, and I had multibuy savings of £1.06. Bringing total for month to £26.06
Am putting this towards money owed to savings of £114.48 so am almost a quarter of the way there.
I have a little purse in the kitchen for actual money and am accounting for the virtual savings on my banking spreadsheet and will transfer/pay in at end of the month.Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

last months total PMS: 176.56:D
all of this has been transferred over to my hisave account. so i start from 0 again this month.
septembers PMS money has been promised away already. i need new flooring in ds2&3 bedroom. ds3 is still smearing at night so i have decided to take up the carpet and lay lino. the carpet is really awful now and lino will be so much easier to clean and much cheaper than having to hire carpet cleaner!
i will be looking for a good deal on this as i dont really want to spend all the PMS if i dont have to.
i will start getting quotes next week when things have settled down after the back to school madness.
hoping for a good month:)November NSD's - 70 -
