How posting JPEG etc to a post

Options
Does anyone know how I would put a screen shot that is saved as a small JPEG into the body of a thread?

Thanks.

I upload to a Facebook album that only I can see, drag the image to the tabs bar, and copy the image location from there, before pasting it into the thread reply.

Others suggested photobucket, but I can't see how my method impacts on privacy at all (mainly because the links can't be taken back to a profile, as far as I'm aware)

You cannot directly attach a jpeg to a post. What you need to do is find a storage website - photobucket has been mentioned, but there are others. You then load the jpeg to the website and it will give you a link to add into your post.

Then when people click on the link it will take them to the other website to view the photo.
  • I use Tinypic, you don't have to have an account so no danger of people seeing your other pictures.

If you drag the photo into a tab, then copy it, it will paste on here.

    Now you see it

    Now you don't

And yes, the link is the same, and privacy settings set to 'only me', as can be seen here. Only edit on the photo is taking my name out.

Another alternative among many similar sites.

    http://imgur.com/

Gives you forum codes to paste into a post here, and option to get a deletion link to save for later in case you want to delete the image.
