While searching for a job on the Reed website i've just come across this.

You may get some ideas.
This seems quite good. Some franchises are noted as "up to £5000", bt I have not heard of them.
BTW the clothes alteration shop I was thinking off in my post above is Zipyard and this site notes it as "up to £50,000" so perhaps not as inexpensive as I thought. Green Thumb is not mentioned on the site.0 -
I looked into a carpet cleaning franchise and found the cost very inhibiting so I joined a industry forum asked lots of questions bought some second hand gear and went on a industry course that included marketing etc.I was all set up for a fraction of the price .unfortunalty my health failed so i sold the gear but never lost on the expense i have a relative with a huge franchise Printing and hes strugglingto make a profit.0
