Vanquis interest rate reduction

Just had a letter from vanquis with a rate reduction from around 50% to 41% , due to me managing the account well
Had the card for a year, always paid in full, no limit increase still £250.
Thought this might be of interest, as past threads have suggest vanquis don't drop rates

Taking a cynical viewpoint, perhaps they are hoping that by lowering the APR, you may leave a balance on the card, rather than paying in full.0

I had thought of that, I much prefer paying 0% by paying in full
