I received a jacket from Abercrombie Kids which was too big.
I checked their size chart before ordering but this jacket was much larger than their stated sizing.
I mailed their customer service and was told to return the item by royal mail to the USA and they would refund the cost of the jacket and the postage.
I mailed them to inform them that I had returned the item and the amount I had paid in postage. They replied that when the item was received I would then have to send an email with proof of the postage. Why didn't they want this straight away?
Royal Mail stated that the return would take 7 working days. It is now 9 days and they say they have not received the parcel at their distribution centre and it is out of their hands............................ Thanks
So what do I do now? I have no idea whether they have it or not. So I have to pay for a jacket that I don't have and postage costs of £12.95!
Can I claim compensation from Royal Mail after 15 days or am I covered by Paypal or my credit card?
Thanks for any advice.

What level of cover did you take out with RM when you posted it? I thin from memory that you have to wait a specified number of days (30 springs to mind) before RM accept that it is lost. Did you send it via a trackable method?0
