According to the link in the OP Apple have never done Black Friday in the UK before? I can't remember though to be honest.

If I can get 5% off of the £800 iPad that I am buying hubby for Christmas then that will be better than a kick in the you know what.

It has for me too but if you click todays deals then click on cyber monday it shows them in the old layout -

Am guessing it's the new iPad Pro 128GB - and yes, it does come in gold

JL won't know the deals until the day, but I am reliably informed that stock levels of certain desirable items - iPads included - are being ramped up in preparation (probably to keep up with the price match promise, if nothing else). I shall have to be extra vigilant that morning, it would be good if we could keep posting reliable intelligence as it emerges on this thread.

Yes they do- I remember every year it being hyped up then always coming to nothing (or the same 5%-ish off) be interesting to see if they don't this year being that they are a famously US brand and are a prime candidate for Black Friday.
