TV Warranty At Argos

I have been looking to buy a TV from Argos however they do not say if the TV that I am interested in has got a Warranty with it

Are Argos televisions covered by a Warranty when you purchase one ?

Warranty usually from the manufacturer .
Sale of Goods Act and its update from the vendor and can be longer than a manufacturers warranty .

    Yes Richer sounds warranty .

Free? It's £9.99 for items under £100, or 10% of the purchase price for £100 or above.

Still a good deal if you want an extended warranty. Though some manufacturers/retailers will give you 2 years anyway: John Lewis for one.
OP, you need to state the brand.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

  • Three years breakdown including the one year guarantee from argos for tv is covered by Domestic and General, by cancelling the one I had already taken out with Argos and going direct to D and G I got an extra year for the same price.

Also, check that the model number is one available elsewhere, as like supermarkets, Argos may have brand names made down to a price, by using cheaper components.

John Lewis is 5 years free guarantee on all TVs.

I wouldn't buy a TV from anywhere other than Richer Sounds or John Lewis.
