Transcrtipts of Judgments

In relation to the OFT case we may have a problem with obtaining a copy of the transcript of the judgment whenever it comes. If my memory serves me right under the current contract transcripts are not made as a matter of routine of hearings in the High Court. Therefore unless we apply and pay for a transcript of the judgment in the OFT case the only way we can find the text of the judgemnt is if the banks or someone else puts it on thier website. A similar problem arises in relation to county court judgments. While the Berwick decision is available the more helpful from our point of view Terry decision is not. I have emailed penaltycharges.co.uk twice asking for a copy so far without success.

We should consider whether we want to arrange for the judgment in the OFT case whenever it comes to be transcribed for us. If I can obtain copies of Berwick and Terry I will arrange to make them accessible. If there are any other cases which we should have made accessible if you PM me I will give you my email address so that you can send them to me and I will see whjat I can do.
As I am not the Pope or legally qualified I may be wrong so feel free to get a second opinion from a qualified person
