Right, so the complication is thatNo, I live here and have assets here. My child and an husband also live here. I only want to get an executor from abroad.- if you die before your husband and while your child is still a minor
and - you want to leave something directly to your child,
then - you have to create a trust, which needs more than one trustee.
I know there's always a risk, but if the risks of you dying young are not high, then the simple answer is to leave everything to your husband, unless he dies before you, in which case it all goes to your child. A solicitor would be able to advise on your options for covering that eventuality.
The other question to consider is what you'd want to happen to your child if both you and your husband die.
