Midland bank bank charges

[Hi all can anyone help and advise ,in 1990 I had accursed quite a lot of bank charges and threats from midland bank in middlesbrough each week my debt went up to the point I had to pack up make them a cash offer to leave me alone and go and work down London to get on my feet , now all these years later I hear you can claim them back well if so I want to ,
But I keep hitting brick wLls and get no help from HSBC ,
First of all they say they don't keep records that far back ( I know thus is not tru due to a claim I've got going thru with the ombudsman at the minute)
How do and who do I contact ???
Also I don't and any bank details anymore but thry should , can anyone help and advise me ,
Thankyou so much big sigh. Bigsighalive@yahoo.com

  • The banks won the court case on charges. They are expected to be sympathetic to people who can show current hardship but nothing beyond that. You are talking about charges 25 years ago. You haven't got a snowballs chance in hell of getting these refunded. Forget it and get on with your life.

There is nothing for you to do. You missed the boat for doing this as the banks won the court case a number of years ago.
