Belkin Bluetooth Device+ SE k800i

Options
Have just got a new bluetooth dongle for the computer- its a Belkin 100m which is like £17 in Comet.

Apart from being able to send files from and to the computer and use the phone as a remote control.

Was wondering if you can access files from the computer on the phone- such as music tracks etc (like you would on a wifi network) and if so how?

Also is it possible to share the computers internet connection on the phone?

Any help appreciated :D

  • well bluetooth and WIFI are different technologies. unless your phone is WIFI then u anit got a chance at all.

even if it did u wouldn't be able to file share anyway because of different protocols and security's on your computer. not as simple as browse round your pc with ur phone.

not much u can do apart from file share use ur phone as a modem and remote control..
  • Yeah ino wifi & bluetooth are different technologies - i just wondered if it was possible to do that. But cheers for the help mate :D

In order to stream music from your computer to your phone/other audio device i.e. headphones it would have to be A2DP enabled. A bluetooth dongle isn't going to do this, well not a cheap one anyway.
