Capital one home owner loans!
CRAZY:HORSE_2

In the past I had a secured loan on my mortgage which was brokered by Capital one home owner loans. I am currently trying to complain to these people but I do not know if they are still trading. Are they part of Capital one and can I put my complaint to them or would I have to complain to the under writer?
Any information would be appreciated.
Many thanks

What is the complaint about, is it PPI? Capital one Home owner Loans were a division of Capital One (they closed it around 2007.)0

Sorry it was mortgage payment protection insurance !
So are Capital one responsible or the under writers Cigna insurance?
Cheers0 -
If your complaint is about the sale of the policy you approach the seller which would be Capital One unless you got the loan through a broker.
If your complaint is about a claim you approach the insurer.0 -
The broker for the loans was capital one home owner loans, so do I forward the complaint to capital one or the under writer cigna insurance?0

Not really! The company who sold me the policy capital one home owner loans are no longer trading, so I need to know if I approach capital one or the underwriters!0

Try phoning CAPITAL 1 first, see what they say.0

It still exists.
Its registered office is Trent House, Station Street, Nottingham, NG2 3HX.
Why are you complaining?0 -
The complaint is about mppi paid up front as a premium on top of the loan

Thanks for the advice0 -
That would be a potentially valid reason.0
