Reasonable quote for garden fencing?

Hi - i'm looking to have new garden fencing put up in my mid-terrace in east london.
I'd like to go for the contemporary style Western Red Cedar slatted fencing seen here:

... approx 20 linear meters and about 6foot high with gravel boards.
Best quote in so far for disposal of old fencing, supply and installation of new parts is £2200... does this sound right?
Thanks.

Are you going to treat them, or let them go silver? They look good but I don't know if I could be bothered with the maintenance!0

I'll probably seal it but I'm okay with it going grey/silver over time.
Is the cost reasonable though?0 -
*bump*
£2200 sound reasonable (london) for 20 linear metres of western red cedar slatted fencing, parts and labour?

DIY - £900 in materials and a weekend of hard work.
(Based on our own DIY of 7m being £300 for good quality pre-treated closed board with concrete posts and gravel boards, so not the same fence style but just extrapolating the length). So you're looking at like £1,300 for labour which seems high to me, I'd have expected maybe around £700-£800 for 2 days work but then London prices??0 -
This slatted style fencing by the sounds of it is quite labour intensive to install ... every baton needs nailing into the post with equal spacing. There's probably 30-40 batons per 1.8m panel, and approx 10 panels to install.
And yes we're in London too :eek:0
