Land Registry Help - Objecting to an application to cancel a caution

Hi, I am registered as a cautioner on some land, it was processed as part of my divorce settlement. Some 21 years later, my ex has applied to the Land registry to cancel my caution hence removing me.
As it has been so long, I no longer have the files and the full details as to why I was registered but I want to appeal and object to the application and was wondering if anybody could help me word it legally and sufficiently please?

You need to speak to a solicitor, preferably the one who dealt with this in the first place so they can access the files.
On a separate note, if you don't even remember why the caution is there then why do you care about keeping it?0
