What do I do if I miss my Agent and need to make a payment?
If from time to time you are going to miss your Agent’s visit and you can’t arrange an alternative visit or make a payment to your Agent in advance, you can use our new automated card payment line to make a repayment and avoid falling into arrears.
The new card payment line is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and you don’t even have to speak to an operator. This means that there are no queues and your call can be completed without delay so you can ensure that you stay on track with your repayments.
To make a payment using the automated line, call 0800 916 6440.
All you need is your customer number and your date of birth. You can also choose to securely register your card to make the process even easier should you need to use the card payment line to keep up to date with your payments in the future.
If you wish to pay for another account holder’s account, then you can simply follow the same payment process as long as you have their customer number and date of birth.
Making a card payment is not an alternative to your Agent’s weekly collections, so if your circumstances have changed, meaning you are frequently unable to pay your Agent at your usual arranged time, then please discuss your change in circumstances and the options available to you with your Agent. If you are unable to discuss this directly with your Agent for any reason, please contact Provident’s Contact Centre on 0800 069 6064.0 -

You can expect all you like, but if you move to somewhere the loan company does not have a collector, then you have a problem, not the loan company."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry.
