Hi,
take a look at these offers that ING are offering;
http://www.ingdirect.co.uk/offer50/
http://www.ingdirect.co.uk/offer75/
What do you think. Anyone see any catches other than new customers only?

so I can open the account mid september, deposit the money, on 6th October withdraw my opening deposit plus either £50 or £75, then close the account?
I can't see anything in the t's and c's about it having to be opened for a given period.Indecision is the key to flexibility0 -
Yip, anniecave. That's what I take from the T&C's anyway.0

The only thing that I see from the other threads that could be a problem is that some state that the offer in only open to new customers in certain areas of the UK who live within the mail drop area.
Guess the best way to find that out is to phone the free phone number and ask: 08001838831.
My home phone isn't working 0800 numbers aren't free from my mobile. If anyone phones can they let us know?
Thanks0 -
i phoned a couple of days back and said I'd seen the £75 offer 'on a website'. I was asked which website and I said ING's and quoted the URL for the £75 offer and she was fine. I asked if there were any catches - was it instant access, no penalties, no fees and she said no catches etc.
My cheque for £2500 has gone off. I was going to wait until mid September but just in case they pull the offer as they seem to know it is doing the rounds on the boards, I've set it up now.
I'll see if they honour the offer and if they do I'll whip the money back and then close the account."Stay Wonky":D
