So I should be paying more than the minimum on my credit card?
I only heard about the minimum payment flag in the last year or so.
The odd thing is, in over ten years of stoozing, I have never been refused an application. As soon as I became aware of it, Virgin refused my application, twice.
It's like Christopher Walken in The Deer Hunter, you only get killed playing Russian Roulette when you start to care.
Even odder, I now get 5/5 with Noddle.co.uk .
My interpretation is, the minimum flag is there for all to see, but the individual credit card provider computer can ignore it or not.
But, if you make a minimum payment of say £65 isn't that £65 when paid then available to make additional purchases? Thus maxing out the card until the promotional period finishes?
If the promotional rate is on spending, and you're still in the period where spending qualifies for the promotional rate, and you've got something to spend exactly £65 on, then yes.
