Electoral Roll Question

Options
I checked my Experian Credit Report and it shows I am on the electoral roll since a few weeks ago.
However - Equifax shows differently that I'm not on the register..

Is it possible for the 2 companies to contradict each other?

Comments

  • yes, they'll take updates from the electoral registration officer at different times, and then they have to check the data and update their own systems.
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.

Just wondering - DO the CRAs actually CHECK any data they are given? If so, that must mean that they are accountable for any errors they show, which they seem to furiously deny. This seems to apply even if the date of birth is decades out it doesn't seem to be their responsibility.

Yes, Equifax seems to be quite careless about my info ... it's not completely accurate WHILST all my info is updated correctly with Experian ... I think Experian is the #1 Credit Agency in the UK and for a reason - more financial institutions seem to always report to them rather than occasionally to the others.

Equifax are extremely slow at updating, if at all. my report shows a 4 year old address, and very little new info.

but I checked Experian for the first time and everything was fine. \as I'm not begging for anything I cba to fix it with Equifax. clearly useless.
