Your score is totally meaningless, ignore it. What matters is your credit history - if you have a regular history of borrowing and repaying responsibly, you'll have a reasonable chance of being accepted. The amount of credit you'll be offered will also depend upon your history, as well as your level of income and existing debt.

You could use MBNA's eligibility checker to see if you'd qualify for a Money Transfer card.
It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.

    Hi U158289

You Experian Credit Score allows you to understand how lenders may view your Credit History, however it is not viewed or seen by any lenders you are thinking of applying with. They will have their own score based upon your own credit history as well as application information such as age and income, this information Experian does not hold and therefore it is not included within your Experian Credit Score.

You may wish to speak directly with the lender prior to applying for credit to see if they can give you any indication of your suitability for a particular product. Please remember a large number of applications for credit within a short time may also impact how desirable you are to lenders.

As you have seen your Experian Report it may also be an option to take this to the lender ahead of applying so you can openly discuss your credit history

You may find our 'improve' site useful for more hints and tips:

    Thanks
