            I was talking in general terms why a tradesman/electrician has to charge a certain amount to give his service.
 Anyway why didn't you discuss his charges before inviting him to do the work?0

            It's a lesson learnt and it is not behind me thank goodness. I asked for a price at the start but he could not advise as he was unsure what the problem was.0
