Vodafone - help!!

Options
VODAFONE have been completely useless over the past 3 months and its only a matter of time before they ruin my credit file!

September - they didn't take my bill, in fact my Direct Debit had gone. I paid by Debit Card albeit 4 days late (I think) and only because I discovered they hadn't taken a payment from me. Even though I have paid by DD for months and months previous.

October - yet again, 6 phone calls I made to Vodafone to have them investigate why, yet again, they hadn't taken the direct debit despite them telling me that the bill had been paid. I called my bank, printed a statement and even offered to send the statement to Vodafone to prove they hadn't taken my bill for October. Over and over again they told me the bill had been paid and not to worry. Until one day I got through to someone with a bit more common sense who told me the bill hadn't been paid and was stuck in a 'pending' state. I again paid late over the phone by Debit Card.

November - surprise, surprise, surprise the same thing all over again. I don't know where to turn with these idiots any more. I don't see why I should be chasing Vodafone to my bill only to be told I have paid it, when I know I haven't.

In October I was even told I would receive a compensation payment of 1 months line rental but when I ask about this, the operator tells me the refunds team refused to pay it as it was out of scope.

Do I keep calling them to try and pay my bill? or do I keep the evidence I have so far? Text messages to confirm the bill has been paid and just wait until they realize they have made a mistake for the 3rd month running.

My concern is I leave it, then they apply all sorts of late payments to my credit file which will be harder to remove than to prevent going on there in the first place.

Thanks
