What do you think of this LCD TV?
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5292040/Trail/C%24cip%3D49550.Sound%2Band%2Bvision%3EC%24cip%3D49579.Televisions%3EC%24cip%3D49585.LCD%2Band%2Bplasma%2Btelevisions%3EFC%24Screen+Size+%28inches%29%3D19.19.htm
Is it a good buy for a bedroom or is it a cheapo that will last 5 mins?
Can I please have your technical brilliance opinions?
Thanks

Unfortunately I'm still none the wiser (technophobe
).
Has anyone else got any views please?0 -
i wouldn't get it, if you've got room for a crt (old style tv) get one of those, should be cheap in tesco asda and the like.
What is going to be plugged into the tv ?0 -
I tend to agree, an old style tv is probably better for a bedroom, though at some stage your gonna need to connect it to a freeview box or cable it to whatever you have downstairs. If your gonna buy a LCD TV buy one a little more expensive and get one with Freeview built in (Digital ready). I know it depends on the size of your room etc but most of my friends who have an LCD in their bedroom all go for one with Freeview built in and say you need a screen size of around 24 - 26 inches to enjoy it.
I'm still pondering on what to do myself as at the moment I have an older style 36 inch tv (huge) that was given to me and it takes up half the bedroom ....lolDo I Need It ? .......... Do I Want It? .......... What Will Happen If I Don't Buy It? .......... I'm So Confused I Need Help!0 -
We purchased from Currys S152/3 £130ish a few weeks ago a monitor for a cctv but have ended up using it for the bedroom TV via satellite link. Very pleased with it and have a dvd player attached to it also. Mrs Happy0
