The Fabric of India exhibition is the highlight of the festival and the first major exhibition on handmade textiles from India. With more than 200 objects on display, from the 3rd to the 21st century, this must-see show brings together the best of the V&A’s world-renowned collection alongside international masterpieces displayed for the first time.
Opening in November, the exhibition Bejewelled Treasures: The Al Thani Collection will present more than 100 spectacular items of Indian and Indian-inspired jewellery. Visitors will discover the evolution and enduring influence of Indian jewellery from the Mughal Empire to the modern day.
