  • sorry , my children are well grown up now , however I don,t think I would have left my 6 YEAR OLD unsupervised even in the public library 20 yrs ago

Hi, this isn't for unsupervised browsing, this is so that if he is on the CBBC site and accidently clicks "News" or something, he is not for a second exposed to a picture of an unfriendly man, or maybe a dog with one eye.
You know what the internet is like, has terrible things on old chap!

Just so we keep to the point on this as a safety issue, for the sake of argument I got my 6 and 14 year old mixed up.
I would not let my 6 year old use electric things, very dangerous old chap.

So my 14 year old sometimes uses a computer on his own, and I only want him to be able to access encyclopaedias, dictionaries, atlases and the like. You know, useful stuff. I do not want him reading the Daily Mail site!
  • I used to struggle confusing my 6 yr old with my 14 yr old , , yup the 14 yr old one is safe with the daily mail , , allow him to roam to the sun as well and look at page 3!

perhaps in older times we were more careful in what we let our children watch and read , its now 23.05 , is he still sat there on his computer/playstation , or has he done his homework and gone to bed
