Bush have never been a great TV brand.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Unlikely to have ever been worth the full price when you can get a good brand for that price (e.g. Samsung or Panasonic). If the reduced price is what you can afford it may be worth buying, although I might be inclined to wait for Black Friday and see if you can pick up a bargain then.0

Thankyou for the replies.
Yes good idea re: Black Friday.
I had been thinking re: Argos of waiting until they do the £10 voucher for every £100 spent offer again.0 -

They were once along with Murphy, part of the Rank group. Now its just a badge stuck on cheap supermarket own brand style products. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Argos have put the Price Up Today to £199.99
What's betting that they reduce it back down to £139.99 on Black Friday? :think:0 -
You might as well get this for £189: http://www.johnlewis.com/panasonic-viera-tx-32c300b-led-hd-ready-720p-tv-32-with-built-in-freeview/p1999197
5 years guarantee on that - then buy an Amazon Fire TV stick to make it smart.0 -

That does look good
Great guarantee and good idea re: Fire Stick as well !
I've 'bookmarked' it...... fingers crossed the price is reduced on Black Friday.0 -
Are you sure you only want a lower resolution screen?0

We did this with our Samsung TV - and since the motherboard died 2 years after purchase, i was glad for the guarantee!
Smart TV services suck - they can be pulled quite easily; my TV no longer supports Amazon Video, and it never had Netflix. It is also horrifically slow and has a bad UI. Ok, it is 4 years old now...it now has a Chromecast plugged into it. You will be able to pick up a cheap Fire TV stick on Black friday I expect - and maybe an old model Chromecast.
Edit - also look at this: http://www.johnlewis.com/samsung-ue32j5100-led-full-hd-1080p-tv-32-with-freeview-hd/p1951621
It's 1080p, so supports higher res than the Panasonic for an extra tenner. OR.. go down to a real John Lewis as they often sell off display models quite nicely reduced, still with the 5 year guarantee.0
