Hi,

I have had a Vanquis credit card with a £250 limit for the past 5 months which I am managing well.

I have just applied for a capital one credit card and have received the following message:

One of our team will now perform additional security checks, which typically take 7 working days. In a small number of cases we may need more information to complete your application – if so, we'll write and let you know.

What are the chances of acceptance, will they take into account how I have been managing the vanquis card?, also was declined straight away for this card a few months back.

Sounds like a refer so someone will look at your application compare it to there acceptance criteria and will approve or decline. Could go either way, good luck and let us know if your approved and the limit given.
