Hi I'm hoping fir some advice my partner is in the army, we have a 3 year old son who is due to starts school next year and I currently work full time .we have a house which is currently mortgaged and we are debating on renting it out and living on army house for a year or two do my son and I can be closer to my partner and it will give me the time needed to get settled j tk a new area and find a new job before committing to a mortgage house where he is based.has anyone else rented their property out to live in army housing ? Our bank have provisionally agreed to it and we know their is a demand for housing where we currently live bit I'm very nervous firstly of having a stranger living in our house and potentially wrecking it as if it doesn't work employment wise where he is based I would have to come back to our current home and secondly I haven't seen what the houses are like and I know the housing is more for situation rather than quality but I have been told the houses aren't very nice any advice or help would be greatly appreciated as very torn on what to do at the moment thank you

Are you guys married? If not, you won't be entitled to live in married quarters.£2 sealed pot....continue from 2014 piling them in until termunda full!0

So many variables. Depends on where you are going as to what the married quarters are like. You can up your house size entitlement if you tell them you are getting an aupair when you go back to work. As for your current property that you want to let out... Nobody will ever treat it like you would but there are good and bad tennants everywhere, it's all in the vetting and selection of your tennants. I'm currently lucky and she requests to make personal upgrades from family members who are tradesmen and want her to be comfortable... but equally you could have someone careless that ruins things. Do your homework and take the correct deposits etc so you have money to use at the back end of their tennancy to utilise if they have damaged your property.
At the end of the day its just property and it can be fixed... Im assuming you will make money over the years so just concentrate on that and not take it too personally.0
