Transferred balance to wrong card

Hi, I recently completed a balance transfer to pay off my HSBC card but transferred it to my husband's HSBC card in error which is now £2000 in credit! We're not sure of the easiest way (any way) to clear the £2000 debit on my HSBC via the other card. Any advice appreciated.
Thanks

Ask hubby's HSBC to refund the credit balance to your bank. If they will, use the refunded cash to pay off the card you meant to transfer to.

If they refuse, ask them to transfer the money back to the card it came from. However, that CC may or may not refund the BF fee.
  • Thanks both of you that's really helpful will ask him to get on to the bank first thing Monday. We do all our banking with HSBC so hopefully should be straightforward.
