Car Finance - Multiple searches

Hi all,

I decided to apply for finance via Car Finance 24-7 as they appeared to have a good write up and lots of presence on radio/TV which suggested they may have been the good guys.

Unfortunately I have, since the start of October had countless hard searches on my credit report from independent lenders down to those who are quite literally calling you from their mobiles and I've even had an influx of calls telling me I've had an accident in the past few years.

Is there anything I can do? I have complained to Car Finance 24-7 who quite frankly, couldn't give a f***.

Whilst I accept one or two searches from genuine lenders, I do not think it fair that a month later companies are STILL searching and calling me with dodgy deals despite Car Finance 24-7 closing my account.
