Ariston microgenus HA boiler no heating?
Belma
I have Ariston microgenus gas boiler and recently I noticed that HW indicator is constantly on even when no taps are turned on. My CH is not working at all and no light on CH indicator comes on when I switch CH on. My boiler shows no errors and water preisure is normal. Does anyone knows what could be wrong or had this problem before.
Thank you

Have you perhaps left it in "Summer Mode" during which central heating will not operate?0

Thank you for your reply.
I don't think so as CH switch I turned between 4-5...0 -

That is not programmed at all.
I tried all the basics checks , problem came suddenly, heating was working fine before. Strange thing is that there is no error code, only hot water light is permanently on regardless if the water is running or not (this was not happening before) and there is no blue central heating light at all once I turn the heating on.0 -
Is it a combi boiler?
Stuck diverter valve?0 -
Dripping hot tap ?
Faulty shower valve ?I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
Is the boiler actually fired up when no hot water is running and the light is on.
I know it's not of any use in diagnosing your problem, but we had a microgenus and it was absolutely crap. ran fine for about 3 years and then after that was nothing but trouble. Finally gave up on it about 3 years later having replaced just about every major part in the boiler.
Does sound like a diverter problem, but I learnt that these boilers are commonly prone to PCB issues.0
