I'm sick to the death of its non loading / crashing / SLOW / whatever.
This piece of software Hell seriously needs an overhaul.
I have a database of approx 5.5K, and I know that it can be quicker to list from "searched" results
Can anyone tell me if there is any decent alternative to eBay's Turbo lister ?? or even any under the horizon tips to get this cranky piece of carp to function properly.

I have to say I don't have any real problems with Turbo Lister. I list just shy of 10,000 items every 30 days and, although its quite slow, it plods through them all just fine.0

Its not the listing speeds that bug me to be honest, though it often takes forever to log in and start doing it.
Its more the loading with it's frequent crashes, and the time it takes to open "edit" and "save"
If I search for something then duplicate and edit in the "search results" page it's far faster than on the main "index" screen..
Is there any alternative that works properly ??0 -
I've not used Ebay for a bit so I'm out of the loop but there used to be a couple of alternatives on the .com site that were compatible with the UK. I think they discontinued one but there may be others.Pierre_De_Grenoble wrote: »Is there any alternative that works properly ??.0 -

I don't seem to use it as you do, Pierre. All my items are in a spreadsheet, which are imported into Turbo Lister and then listed. I don't do any editing or saving within Turbo Lister.
You could look at Seller Manager Pro but I think you have to pay for that unless you have an anchor store.0 -
I was browsing Ebay last night for the first time in a while and noticed some templates that were old TL ones.
I'm amazed that they're still on there they look really dated and cheap. That sums up TL really, it's barely changed in over 10 years which is astounding.
It looks as though the US has a new one "ebay seller hub" which has a waiting list to beta test. No idea if it works in the UK but it will eventually.
There are probably still a few third party apps that are chargeable but will have 30 day free trial..0 -
I use Turbo Lister. I find it suits me for making listings easy and quickly via templates. I can also see all my listings and what to list when it suits me.
It does occasionally go horribly wrong. I find it is normally if you try and interrupt it. Such as cancelling uploading listings just as it is in the middle of it. I find regular backups and exporting listings to a spreadsheet every so often cushions the blow when it goes wrong.
It is a real shame Ebay do not invest in a decent off-line program (or upgrade Turbo lister to 2015) as there is obviously a demand for it.0
