I am buying a second hand apple mac and I have been offered for sale (at additional cost) the remaining of the warranty (over the 1 year standard). If I dont pay for this can I still claim if the warranty is "attached" to this mac? Also how much is it worth paying for it? Bearing in mind that there is about 18 mths left on it.
Thanks for your help :T

If I read this correctly the seller is offering you the chance to buy the reaming Applecare for this machine. The machine will have that applecare serial "attatched" to it and is worthless to the seller. It is also worthless to you unless you have the Applecare serial AND the original invoice they recieved when they bought it. It will still be under the applecare agreement but without the relevant paperwork it is worthless.
Hope this helps0 -
