Possible bank error - advice please

Hi,
I received a refund of PPI a few months ago, I've just received a 2nd letter from the same bank saying I am entitled to an additional payment. there is a section which says amount already paid, which doesn't show the payment already made months ago. Just want to check where I stand, if I cash the cheque and its a mistake would I have to pay it back?

Yes, you would have to pay it back. You are not entitled to keep money as a result of an error. Especially when you know it is an error.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
